RFP - Consulting Services for the Jewel Lake Long-Term Maintenance Study
The purpose of this project was to identify the sources and rates of sedimentation in the watershed upstream of Jewel Lake, provide recommendations for erosion control and rank those solutions based on a variety of variables. Of all the erosion control methods considered, creating a bypass channel around Jewel Lake ranked the highest based on sediment reduction, sediment management efficiency, habitat impact and stakeholder feedback.
