RFP - North Basin Strip

The project scope consists of conducting environmental studies and preparing environmental documentation under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), assessing the feasibility of daylighting Schoolhouse Creek, conducting community engagement, and preparing conceptual and preliminary designs for the restoration of shoreline habitats and associated trails in North Basin Strip and adaptation strategies for Berkeley Meadow within MESP and adjacent Marina Boulevard. Subtidal restoration planning efforts in the North Basin (open water and nearshore) are underway and the project team will need to coordinate with the ongoing work of the Regionally Advancing Living Shorelines project (Living Shorelines Project) led by the San Francisco Estuary Institute and other regional partners.
